So what’s this Jess about anyways?

There are many things that define who I am.

Currently I spend weekdays, 10am-3pm create viral infographic content for clients like mint.com and other super cool people.  From 3pm-8pm I am engaged in all manner of fort building, bad guy slaying, slow carb eating, tea party having, good times.  From 8pm-12pm I am often administering, mockup designing, community managing, digging in analytics, and other startup related business.  When not doing that I am likely watching bad reality TV, or making love, with my woman.

A brief history of me.

Born in 1980 Lafayette, Louisiana, my mom and I moved to the Boston area when I was a wee lad.  Raised and schooled in Massachusetts, I set out at the age of 22 with my Communications degree to work in retail (fired), then telemarketing (quit).  Moved to College Station, Texas to help start and run a few restaurants (fired)(quit).  Then up to Vermont for some sweatshop labor (quit) until a project of mine became popular on the internet.  I haphazardly quit my day job and never looked back.  I sold a bunch of posters, had my 15 minutes of fame (actually 7 minutes), and started a blog.  I was known for infographics and started doing them for clients in 2008.  Fast forward two years and I have done more infographics than can I can count and am currently seeing what else I have to offer this planet.  Oh and along the way I found love had a family.

You can find me all over the internet.

Current Heros and Gurus.

What you probably don’t know about me.
